Discover Jeju Noodle Bar

When you think about great food in New York, you might envision a variety of options. However, if you’re craving something a bit different and bursting with authentic flavors, Jeju Noodle Bar in the heart of the West Village is an unmissable gem. Located at 679 Greenwich St, New York, NY 10014, this small, cozy spot has quickly gained a reputation for offering an incredible dining experience that brings the tastes of Jeju Island right to your plate. Known for their unique takes on Korean dishes, Jeju Noodle Bar offers a menu that's both comforting and innovative.

One of the standout dishes here is their signature ramen. Unlike the typical ramen you might find elsewhere, this bowl has been crafted with deep, complex flavors that are hard to forget. The rich, savory broth, combined with homemade noodles, makes every spoonful a comforting experience. The standout ingredient in many of the dishes is the use of fresh, local ingredients that shine through with each bite, creating a meal that's not only hearty but refreshing as well.

Their menu isn’t just about ramen, though. The team behind Jeju Noodle Bar puts a lot of thought into their menu, bringing the boldness of Korean flavors to life with dishes like kimchi pancakes, crispy dumplings, and a variety of seafood offerings that change based on what’s fresh that day. Each dish is crafted with a meticulous approach, paying homage to traditional recipes while incorporating modern techniques and flavors.

The vibe inside is casual but stylish. It’s a small space, which gives it an intimate feel. The modern design, combined with the open kitchen, makes it clear that the focus here is on the food. You get to watch the chefs as they expertly prepare the dishes, adding to the sense of craftsmanship that goes into every meal.

What makes Jeju Noodle Bar stand out in a city full of incredible eateries is their dedication to authenticity and the use of the finest ingredients. Whether you’re a first-time visitor or a regular, the experience is always special. The menu is not overwhelming, which allows guests to fully appreciate each dish, knowing they’re getting quality over quantity.

It’s also worth noting that the restaurant doesn’t shy away from pushing boundaries. The seasonal menu means there’s always something new to try, and some of the flavors might surprise even the most seasoned food lovers. For example, the spicy seafood noodles, which feature a broth so packed with flavor, you might find yourself lingering over the bowl just to savor every drop.

Jeju Noodle Bar is also well-known for its impeccable service. The staff is always friendly and attentive, making you feel at home from the moment you walk in. The atmosphere, paired with the delicious food, creates a welcoming environment perfect for a night out with friends or a cozy dinner for two.

In terms of value, the prices are reasonable given the quality of the food. For a place that serves such high-caliber dishes, it’s refreshing to see a menu that doesn’t break the bank. While the restaurant is small, the experience is anything but cramped. Every dish arrives perfectly presented, giving you a sense of care and effort put into each part of the meal.

Another point worth mentioning is the restaurant’s growing recognition. It’s not just locals who rave about Jeju Noodle Bar-the restaurant has been featured in major food publications and has garnered rave reviews from food critics. This recognition has brought an influx of visitors, all eager to taste the unique dishes that keep them coming back. Many of these visitors leave glowing reviews, praising the quality, the service, and the authentic, bold flavors that make Jeju Noodle Bar stand out in a competitive culinary scene.

For those who enjoy Korean cuisine or are just looking for a new place to explore, Jeju Noodle Bar provides an experience that combines authenticity with creativity. • Jeju Noodle Bar delivers an exceptional dining experience that perfectly balances comfort and sophistication. The wagyu ramen stands out with its deeply rich, umami-packed broth that feels both indulgent and refined. The toro spam bap is a creative twist that hits all the right notes—silky, savory, and perfectly balanced. The lobster myun is another highlight, offering layers of flavor that showcase both technique and quality ingredients. Beyond the food, the service is warm and attentive without feeling overbearing, and the ambiance is modern yet inviting, making it an ideal spot for a relaxed but memorable meal. Overall, Jeju Noodle Bar more than lives up to its reputation. P.S. their merch was really cute but we were bummed to find out they were not for sale :-(. We will be back!

  • Never in my wildest dreams would I have expected a Michelin Ramen restaurant to be as impressive, decadent, and overall as incredible as this meal was. The food, service, and ambiance were all 12/10. Patrick and Jason ensured our experience was one to dream about! The wine pairing with our courses didn’t skip a beat. Don’t sleep on the toro appetizer, truffle scallop, fried chicken and waygyu and lobster ramen! Can’t wait to come back!

  • I must say for a Michelin restaurant the price was so decent. Especially they shave lots of truffles on the scallops dish that’s so tasty. And some caviar dishes they serve a good amount of caviar as well. We love all of the dishes that we ordered lol. We made rsvp so we got in with no wait. Rsvp totally recommended since they can get booked up. It was a walking distance from our hotel. A little less than a mile. So wasn’t bad at all. Our waiter Drew was very nice to us. He came around checked on us quite often. If I ever come back to NY again I totally would come back

  • We spent three days trying to get into Jeju while visiting NYC—walking in, joining the waitlist, and checking Resy—and finally snagged counter seats on our last night. So glad we did! The effort was absolutely worth it. The ramyun was rich, creamy, and packed with tender pork belly—easily the best I’ve ever had. I also appreciated the gluten-free noodle option. Highly recommend dining here if you get the chance—just be sure to book ahead. Only downside was the service: both the hostess and server could’ve been a bit warmer. I get that it’s a busy spot, but a friendlier vibe would go a long way.

  • Absolutely amazing birthday dinner! Service was some of the best we’ve had - our waiter was incredible nice and on top of everything. Their food was incredible and very reasonably priced for a Michelin starred restaurant! Their toro ssambap was one of my favorite dishes I’ve ever eaten and their mushroom ramen was so creative with the best ramen broth I’ve ever tasted. I can’t recommend Jeju enough!

  • Toro Ssam Bap was my favorite — we even added an extra $30 for the uni, and it was worth it. We also ordered the fried chicken, which came with caviar and a lemon dressing. The lemon juice was a bit too strong for my taste, but the ribs were delicious. Another favorite was the mushroom ramyun — I actually liked it more than the lobster myun. The lobster myun broth was a bit too heavy for me, though the lobster itself was cooked perfectly. Service was attentive.

  • Once again, Jeju hits it out of the park. Every element of the dining experience was superb. Our waiter was excellent guiding us through the menu (I’m so sorry I forgot his name). We started the evening with a bottle of wine and the ceviche. While my friends got the popular Gochu Ramyun (a former favorite of mine), I opted to try the Family Ramyun to get a little more seafood flavor. You cannot go wrong with the menu and the service always delivers. Cannot wait to visit again!
